Sometimes I just doodle or I sketch out a form and try to figure out what is inside of it. I sometimes never know where it will take me. It brought me to the “Axe Reaper”. I wanted to so something with lighting in this piece similar to my “Time Waits For Know One” Reaper piece. I do not play much with lighting in my art and I wanted to try it some more. It’s a skill I am trying to develop and each time I play with it, I think it gets a little better. I have always tended to color with a more “Cel Shaded” approach and it is fun to experiment with other techniques.
