I must admit when I heard this movie was coming out I was sceptical. I have never been a big fan of the character. My only real knowledge of him came from crossover events like Infinity Guantlet and Secret Wars. Anyhow, the movie was great and even his little cameo in Thor Ragnorok was just as good. Some of that could be in part to Benedict Cumberbatch. I don’t know what it was but I am looking forward to a sequel.

Well there is not much I can say about this movie. I mean, who doesn’t know what John Wick did with a pencil. It really is my favorite scene in John Wick 2. I am a bit upset though that William Defoe was killed in the first one though.

When I was young, one of the first comics I read that introdiced me to X-Men was Mephisto VS. MiniSeries, This was a four issue series and in each issue he was against a different team. Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men and X-Factor. Each issue was about tapping into the weakness of a character on the team and trying to use it to his advantage. The X-Men was about Rogue and her inability to touch people and to feel. I could relate to that back then. I didn’t know why back then, but now I think it’s in relation to how I don’t like people touching me, knowing me or being close, yet I wanted it.

Married now, I still have trouble with this, it’s the wiring of my brain and it’s annoying. I am trying to get better at it, it is hard. Still no matter what, Mephisto wouldn’t be able to break me.
